the last oracle
the book I'm reading is The Last Oracle by James Rollins , my absolute favorite author. The book is a little slow right now, but as always very scientific and suspenseful. It's about groups of people who have special insights in to the future or past. For instance there is this little girl who is able to draw pictures of places she has never seen or been to, with shocking accuracy. Others experiences dreams or nightmares of future events. Overall, it's very interesting , informative, and I would recommend any James Rollins book to anyone who loves to read.

random antics about politicss...
I always find that when politicians tell you about their plans for change they never give you the details. They are vague and unspecific, for instance Obama plans to create a system so that employers can verify that their workers are eligible to work here in the U.S. , he never states exactly how he will do this just that if elected he would help with immigration. They will also remove incentives that attract illegal immigrants, how? The lists go on and on, of vague and unspecific promises to help our nation. I don't mean to target Obama, because most politicians are vague. They are just afraid to loose discrepancy, and not have their opinions favored by majority. If they truly understood the issues and took the time to research and investigate then they wouldn't have to be so vague because the issues would be something personal and something they were well informed on.

Q & A
This Q &A ocurred on Saturday, November 13 between George Gibson and Karina Garcia. The reason I didn't interview my uncle Micheal McCarthy was because he suggested that I would have a better and more informative interview with Mr. Gibson, his boss. This Q&A doesn't consist of exact wording given by George Gibson.
1. Q What personal experiences have helped you develop your perspective on immigration?
A I lived in Arizona were there are many immigrants and I learned Spanish in Georgia while I was a Morman missionary.I have been a border patrol agent for 16 years here in San Diego.
2. Q What do you think should be done about illegal immigration?
A I think we need to focus on things that make illegal immgrants come to the United States, which is primarly the buisnesses that give them jobs. We need to make employers follow the law, because currently they are exploiting these people , and they should be held accountable.
3. Q What is your stance on the subject?
A I don't think we should grant them legal status because it incourages more illegals, but overall I think people in Mexico are just looking for the easy way out, these people are not starving, they have cell phones and nice clothes, they are middle class people who aren't willing to help out their own country and make it better, so they move here. Stresses the fact that most are not poor and uneducated.
4. Q Do you believe illegal immgrants hsould have any rights?
A Yes they should have certain rights, they shouldn't have to suffer because of their legal status, they shouldn't really be allowed to won property but we have to allow them to survive and live their lives, but, they shouldn't get free mediacl care or education.
5. Q How would you feel if you were an illegal immigrant?
A If I lived in Mexico, I would probably cross illegally too, but, I would focus my efforts in my own country instead of taking the easy way out.
6. Q Do you think illegal immgrants are harming or supporting our economy?
A I don't think they are harming or supporting our economy, their effect on the economy isn't too important, I don't see it as an economic issue. I think it became an issue once we outlawed slavery , I see illegal immigration as the next step above slavery. Politicians distort the issues because they really don't understand them. But, I think we could make it without illegals many documented immigrants already do those jobs so people are willing ot do these jobs.
7. Q How do you think the complication of immigration came to be, knowing that immigration has always been present?
A I think it is many political reasons, people have politicized the whole issue and made it into something other than what the real issues are.

anne frank<3
Anne is a normal teenager who like all girls has had infatuations to certain boys throughout the years. Since she has had to live in tight quarters with Peter for a while now, she has grown closer and closer to him and she has started to rekindle a former relationship. She thinks about necking with him and is very smitten. Like most girls, I can definately relate. She thinks about him constantly and goes over future situations in her mind because she's just so obsessed. In conclusion Anne is very relatable, even though she lived way before my time, this just goes to show that girls can get a little boy crazy at times.

politics
I recently read an article on current events, and one of the topics was about how Osamba bin Laden's driver was sent to Guantanamo Bay to be detained for 66 months . He was charged for conspiracy to kill Americans. It also stated that his sentence may expand due to the power of the Bush's administration to hold detainees during the war on terror. I was fine with everything expect the very last statement. I don't think Bush and our government should be able to use rendition it should be amended. It's wrong to racially profile people and discriminate them, we shouldn't be able to hold them in a foreign country without fair trial, it completely denies the concepts our fore fathers set for us. It's wrong I can't believe Bush got away with so many illegal things, like wire-tapping, they scared American's in to thinking the terrorist were going to kill us all, but lets face the facts we have the most advanced weapons then any other country. Bush is the worst president and this election couldn't come any sooner.
